COVID-19 UPDATES: We have updates from the state that we would like to share with those of you who are curious about the new restrictions and are in the process of planning. We are here to help as much as possible during this tricky time. The following restrictions apply to any and all events that require our catering services whether they be at a separate indoor or outdoor space or private residence.  These are the current Illinois restrictions that have been put in place for event spaces for Phase 4:
• Rooms can be filled at 50% capacity not to exceed 50 people total.
• Buffets guidelines are under review – more info to come.
• Dance floors are not permitted.
• Staff should wear face masks that cover the nose and mouth along with gloves when handling food.

The Banquet Room

The Mannie Jackson Center for the Humanities is located at 1210 N. Main Street in historic downtown Edwardsville, IL and is perfect for your shower, rehearsal dinner, or small reception.  With seating for 130, our banquet room includes round tables that seat up to 10 guests per table, buffet or plated meal options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and appetizer service, and has the latest audio-visual equipment to display your memories or presentation.  The historic building’s tall windows allow in plenty of soft, natural light, and the exposed ceiling gives this intimate space a dramatic touch that is certain to impress your guests.

Our multipurpose room is ideal for meetings and seminars and has the latest audio-visual equipment for your presentation.  We will consult with you to choose a room layout and setup that will work best for your meeting and find the perfect menu for entertaining your attendees.
